Philadelphia Eagles: 7-Round 2020 mock draft following Wild Card Round
By Dan Parzych
After losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs, it only seems fair to conduct a seven-round mock draft surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles for 2020.
Even though it seems way too early to conduct a seven-round mock draft for the Philadelphia Eagles since their season just ended on Sunday, with all of the potential prospects set to be available for the 2020 class, it’s tough to hold back the excitement.
Losing to the Seattle Seahawks the way they did was a crushing blow for the Eagles since the argument can be made that a healthy Carson Wentz would have made a huge difference.
But at the end of the day, just the fact that Philadelphia was even in position to be hosting a playoff game after overcoming all sorts of injuries over the last couple of months should be viewed as a major accomplishment.
On a positive note, once certain players get healthy and the team takes advantage of making necessary offseason adjustments, there’s every reason to believe the Eagles will remain a top contender in the NFC entering the 2020 season.
Speaking of offseason adjustments, when it comes to the upcoming NFL Draft in April, Philadelphia should be able to benefit from a handful of picks they can use to help fill numerous needs on both sides of the football.
Now that Philadelphia’s season has officially come to an end after Sunday’s loss to Seattle, it’s time to have a little fun with a mock draft focused on the Eagles, and their current position needs.
Plenty could change from now until April as far as the positions Philadelphia needs to focus on the most, but this doesn’t mean fans still can’t get a jumpstart on all the draft talk.
