The Philadelphia Eagles face plenty of tough decisions heading into the offseason, including the upcoming free agency period.

After looking at the top free agents the Philadelphia Eagles need to retain for 2020, it only seems fair to look at the ones they should let walk as well, right?

As frustrating as it was to watch the Eagles come up short in the playoffs to the Seattle Seahawks, the team should still feel proud just for being in the position to participate.

With all of the major injuries to key players Philadelphia was forced to overcome throughout the regular season, it was amazing to see the team finish ahead of the Dallas Cowboys to win the NFC East title.

Once certain players get fully healthy on top of taking advantage of the offseason to make the right adjustments, there is every reason to believe the Eagles will be ready to contend for a fourth year in a row during the 2020 season.

Of course, some of these adjustments over the next few months will involve parting ways with certain players, even if some have made a case for deserving another shot to prove themselves worthy of a roster spot.

At the end of the day, Philadelphia needs to do what is best for the team, just like they do every other offseason since the NFC East isn’t getting any easier to play in with all of the talent on the three other teams.
