Philadelphia Eagles: 10 free agents to potentially replace Nelson Agholor
By Dan Parzych
1. Robby Anderson
The New York Jets face a difficult decision this offseason when it comes to determining whether the team should retain Robby Anderson, but one thing is certain, which is if he does hit free agency, plenty of teams will be expressing interest in the wideout.
As a team, the Jets unfortunately haven’t exactly put together the most exciting offense over the years, especially before Sam Darnold came on board in 2018.
However, Anderson has been one of the lone bright spots on offense with 207 catches over the last four seasons to go along with 20 trips into the end zone.
This may not seem like the biggest deal in the world for a young wide receiver in the NFL, but for one on the Jets, this is actually quite impressive.
Making this kind of impact over the last four season after previously signing as an undrafted free agent in 2016 shows that it’s only a matter of time before Anderson receives a hefty pay raise, whether it happens to be from the Jets or a different team.
Philadelphia would certainly face plenty of competition if they were to go after Anderson, but for a wideout who will only turn 27 in May, it would seem worth the effort.
