Philadelphia Eagles: 10 free agents to potentially replace Nelson Agholor
By Dan Parzych
8. Geronimo Allison
After re-signing with the Green Bay Packers in each of the last two seasons, could this finally be the year in which Geronimo Allison finds a new home for 2020?
Numbers wise, Allison hasn’t exactly stood out like some of the other receivers across the NFL, but there have been numerous times over the last four years in which he’s randomly put together solid performances.
Obviously, if Allison could find a way to be more consistent, this would make for a more intriguing option, but for all the Eagles know, a fresh start on a new team could help the wideout reach new levels.
Not to mention, since Allison has never recorded more than two touchdowns in a single season, this could result in Philadelphia landing him at a cheaper price compared to other free agents that will be available over the next couple of months.
Aaron Rodgers has a history of making the players around him better since he’s a future Hall of Famer for a reason, and even though some will make the case that Allison should be avoided, this move at least deserves consideration.
Green Bay hasn’t seen the kind of production they were hoping for, but this shouldn’t rule out the possibility of it happening in Philadelphia.
