10 NCAA prospects Eagles can pair with Cre’Von LeBlanc at cornerback
Here are ten 2020 NCAA draft prospects who would be nice compliments to Cre’Von LeBlanc (or whoever is playing cornerback for this Philadelphia Eagles team.
To re-sign or not to re-sign. That is the question. How about that for some clever wordplay? That’s a little Hamlet and William Shakespeare for you. The Philadelphia Eagles have a lot of work to do when it comes to retooling this roster, a must before evaluating the NCAA talent and a must for the 2020 campaign. Guys are at the end of deals. No one is certain what Philly will do. The Eagles aren’t even certain about what they will do. What we do know is Philly has two good young corners in Avonte Maddox and Cre’Von LeBlanc.
Will Jalen Mills be back? If he is, does he start? There’s going to be a ton for us to discuss until the NFL Draft rolls around in April.
To draft or not to draft. That is also the question. Recently, thanks to some huge bricks that were thrown up by Joe Douglas, the Eagles have missed on guys more often than they’ve hit the bullseye. With a ton of need and with a potential ten draft choices, Philly will need to hit on all of them. Remember they’ll be playing the AFC North and a first-place schedule in the NFC in 2020.
Here’s something we can all agree on. Let’s hope that they take a cornerback early if not two. Cre’Von LeBlanc signed an extension before 2019’s regular season. Avonte Maddox is still playing on a rookie deal. Many are hoping Jalen Mills gets an extension. Here are ten guys who could step in early and be suitable pairings with whoever winds up on top of the depth chart.
