4. Could Duce Staley be promoted?

Duce Staley has now contributed mightily to the organization while being an integral part of the Eagles’ last three coaching regimes (Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, and Doug Pederson). He’s currently the team’s assistant head coach and running backs coach. Might he be given more control over the offense?

"Duce is an important part of my staff. Duce has done an excellent job for me. Everything is on the table. Everything is open for me. He could be part of that conversation."

Speaking on Duce makes us all think about Jim Schwartz’s recent interview with the Cleveland Browns. As of the time of this story being published, Cleveland still hadn’t made any decision yet on their next head coach, but for all intents and purposes, Coach Pederson has made it clear that, if Schwartz remains with Philadelphia, his role as the team’s defensive coordinator won’t change.
