Howie went after a Penn State Nittany Lion in the second round of last year’s draft, taking Miles Sanders with the 53rd-overall pick. Don’t be surprised if he swings on another Penn State product in the second round of this year’s draft with wideout K.J. Hamler.

Hamler’s entire game is built on speed and his big-play ability. He’s the smallest of the wideouts listed here, standing at five-foot-nine and weighing in at 176 pounds. His small frame could lead to injuries at the next level, but he was able to avoid any serious injuries in college, which is a good sign.

He draws a lot of comparisons to DeSean Jackson, and rightfully so. He averaged 16.9 yards per reception during his collegiate career and got in the end zone a total of 14 times.

Hamler will likely be available when the second-round rolls around, so if the front office elects to pass up on a wideout in round one, Hamler could end up being their target.
