Carson Wentz’s last-second toss to Greg Ward was amazing. Zach Ertz’s final catch in overtime versus the Giants was awesome. So, was the strip-sack by Malcolm Jenkins and the subsequent fumble recovery by Fletcher Cox, but the Eagles don’t have a shot at making the playoffs if they don’t beat the Green Bay Packers in Week 4.

Philly could ill-afford to lose and begin 2019’s campaign with a 1-3 mark. They knew that. We all knew that. On a short week, the ‘Birds’ walked into historic Lambeau Field as underdogs (imagine that) and gave ‘The Pack’ all that they could handle.

The game came down to a final drive by Aaron Rodgers and company. Philly’s defense did their share of bending, but they didn’t break. After watching Avonte Maddox go down with a head and shoulder injury, our defensive rookie of the year, Craig James, stepped in. We all knew the ball was going in his direction.

Rodgers’ final pass attempt of the night was thrown in James’ direction. The rookie broke it up, and Nigel Bradham intercepted the pass on the ricochet. Philly had done it. 2019 was a magical run that was full of ups and downs, but without this early-season upset in Week 4, there’s no late-season run to win the NFC East. This one was bigger than people realize. This one is our moment of the season.
