. player. 54. . . . OFFENSIVE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: MILES SANDERS

Sure, the Eagles screw things up from time to time. There isn’t an Eagles fan on the planet who isn’t aware of the fact that, recently, this team missed on more of their draft picks that they hit on (thanks a lot Joe Douglas), but we can all agree on one thing. Miles Sanders was one of those bullseye selections.

In year one, Sanders passed LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson for the most rushing yards by a rookie and the most all-purpose yards by a rookie in franchise history, respectively.

Miles Sanders is no longer in Saquon Barkley’s shadow. light. Related Story

Count them up. Sanders racked up 818 rushing yards, 509 receiving yards on 50 receptions, and six total touchdowns as a rook. He isn’t just the Eagles’ Offensive Rookie of the Year. he has a case to be named the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. he isn’t a shoo-in, but he deserves an honorable mention.
