54. . . . Miles Sanders, running back. 26. player

There’s no real criticism that anyone can make of Miles Sanders without sounding overly picky, but if we’d have to come up with one, it would be this. There are times when it seems like Philly’s talented rookie could have just stuck his foot in the dirt and exploded upfield for two yards rather than trying to dance and ending up with a one-yard loss.

Had he done that, he may have added another 75 rushing yards to his first-year total.

Sanders got better at finding those holes and opportunities more quickly as the season went on, and on top of that, when a man surpasses both LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson in the Eagles team record books, any fan would be foolish not to take a second or two to appreciate just how special Sanders was in his first season as a pro.
