45. . . . Derek Wolfe. 10. player

If we’re talking about potential free agents and who will be available as far as defensive ends are concerned, Derek Wolfe is in the top ten in terms of guys who will, most likely, get a chance to jump into the free agency pool.

The Denver Broncos made him the 36th-overall selection in Round 2 of 2012’s NFL Draft. He’s seen both the best and worst of what pro football has to offer. He’s been a teammate of Peyton Manning‘s and Von Miller‘s and won the NFL’s 50th Super Bowl. He’s seen the team try Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch, and Trevor Siemian at quarterback over the course of a 16-game stretch en route to a 5-11 record.

He’s at the end of a four-year extension that he signed on January 15th of 2016. It appears that his run in Denver is over.

The major knock on Wolfe is he can’t stay healthy, something no one wants to hear about free agent prospects or anyone the Eagles may be eyeing. Wolfe can get hurt putting his cleats on, and that isn’t good when he just turned 30. He can be dominant if he’s able to stay on the field though.
