Philadelphia Eagles: Jim Caldwell is best choice for offensive coordinator

Of all the rumored candidates for the Philadelphia Eagles vacant offensive coordinator position, Jim Caldwell should be at the top of the list.
As the Philadelphia Eagles’ front office continues their search for a new offensive coordinator, fans are growing more and more anxious with each passing day. We’ve all seen several names get tossed around as potential candidates, from Jim Caldwell to USC Trojans offensive coordinator Graham Harrell to the Eagles own running backs coach Duce Staley. There’s just one thing about the Staley theory.
Rumor has it that Eagle Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie would rather see an outside hire, someone with experience as an OC. The melting pot of potential hires seems to grow every day, but Caldwell, someone that was rumored to be a favorite early in the process, is still the best option if the Eagles truly want to maximize their offense’s potential.
That’s a statement that’s been debated. Here’s why it’s accurate.
