The Philadelphia Eagles have tons of personnel decisions to make. Many of those players have huge roles, but six will directly influence draft strategy.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ top three positions of need, in no particular order, are wide receiver, linebacker, and cornerback, and the argument can be made that there are roster decisions at each position group that will directly influence what they do not only in the upcoming NFL Draft but in their own free agency plans as well.

Here’s something obvious. If the Eagles pass up on a cornerback in one of the early rounds because they decide to hang on to Jalen Mills, there could be anarchy. It could also force some to think that there are some serious problems in the front office with the decision-making process.

The Eagles have decisions to make on three exclusive-rights free agents, one restricted free agent, and 15 unrestricted free agents. Philly faces the difficult task of possibly losing members of the team that have contributed to their recent success, but that may be necessary as the goal is for the team to get younger and ensure that they’ll continue to be contenders in the NFC.

Let’s talk about the six personnel decisions that will directly influence the draft strategy.
