Love him or not, Andy Reid gave Philadelphia Eagles fans some memorable moments in his time as head coach in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’.

It’s set in stone. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is headed back to the big dance fourteen years after taking the Philadelphia Eagles to Super Bowl XXXIX. That fateful evening of February 6th of 2005 didn’t end with the Lombardi trophy coming to the City of Brotherly Love, but that doesn’t mean ‘Big Red’ never gave Eagles fans anything to cheer about in his 14-year tenure in Philadelphia.

Reid led the Eagles to 130 regular-season victories, leading to nine seasons of reaching the postseason. Four consecutive seasons (2001-2004) of reaching the NFC Championship Game culminated in that 2005 Super Bowl appearance.

This is not to say the man is flawless as a head coach. Clock management was one of the biggest criticisms of Reid, but he is the winningest coach in NFL history to never win a Super Bowl. No one knows whether or not that will change on the first weekend in February. Still, a great number of Eagles fans and players from Philly’s past and present have expressed their support of Reid’s quest to finally lift the Lombardi.

One thing is for sure, though, and that is the fact that there were several great moments for the Eagles under Reid’s watch, and here are a few of the best.
