Philadelphia Eagles best moments of Andy Reid’s era

4th & 26
Under the direction of Reid, the 2003 Eagles went 12-4 in their first regular-season at Lincoln Financial Field, earning their third consecutive NFC East division title and second straight season at the top of the NFC.
That spectacular season was looking like it could come crashing to an end with one play in the divisional round playoff game versus the Green Bay Packers. A sluggish start of constant three and outs, turnovers, and a missed field goal amounted to a wall for Philadelphia to overcome, and they would do so in dramatic fashion.
Down 17-14, on their 25-yard line with just 1:16 left to play, the Eagles were looking at a fourth and 26 to keep their season alive. For many Philly fans, in their minds at that moment, the game was already over, and the grief of the season ending in premature fashion was settling in.
Then, the impossible happened. With the Packers back in a zone defense, McNabb fired a slightly wobbly pass down the center of the field to wide receiver Freddie Mitchell, who bobbled the ball before reining it in. Forward progress spotted the ball just far enough to grab the first and keep the Eagles season going. They had converted on 4th and 26.
Veteran kicker David Akers went on to kick the tying field goal. In overtime, Brian Dawkins grabbed an interception on a high pass from Brett Favre, returning it to Packers territory and allowing Akers to successfully kick the game-winner.
