54. . . . Week 10, 2010: The Monday Night Massacre. 10. player

The disdain that Philadelphia Eagles fans have for the Washington Redskins doesn’t quite equal the animosity ‘Birds’ fans have for the Cowboys and Giants, but it’s pretty doggone close. Sharing a division with the Redskins guarantees two games versus Washington annually, a ton of big moments and some trash talk between the two fan bases.

In what was perhaps Michael Vick’s shining moment as a Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, a Monday night game versus Washington, ‘7’ went off.

The story, at this point, has been told so many times that it seems pointless to tell it again, but let’s try anyway. The night began with a bomb from Vick to DeSean Jackson, and it only got better from there.

Michael Vick would go on to throw for 333 yards and four touchdowns on 20 for 28 passing. He picked up another 80 yards and two more touchdowns with his legs. In all, Philly scored eight touchdowns as the Eagles were a perfect four for four in the red zone, four for four in goal-to-go situations, and eight for 13 on third down. They also racked up 28 first downs. Not bad huh?
