Scouting Report. Wide Receiver. Colorado. player. Pick Analysis. Laviska Shenault Jr. 31. 42

One can only imagine the kind of pain the San Francisco 49ers are feeling after losing the way they did in Super Bowl 54 to the Kansas City Chiefs, but on a positive note, at least the team is built to compete for years to come.

Watching the 49ers’ defense emerge as a top unit this past season should have the rest of the NFC on alert for years to come, but as the Super Bowl made clear, if San Francisco really wants to return to the big game, Jimmy Garoppolo needs more weapons to work with.

Nothing against the current group of wide receivers since the 49ers are loaded with a bunch of young talent at wide receiver, but the Super Bowl made it clear that Garoppolo could benefit in a big way from another reliable weapon to work with.

Since some of the other top prospects at wide receiver will most likely be well off the board by the time San Francisco is on the clock, if the team is looking for a potential first-round steal, Lviska Shenault Jr. could be a solid option.

During his time at Colorado, Shenault proved on numerous occasions that his size can provide a major advantage against opponents, and adding another young talent with potential like this would certainly make Garoppolo happy, which is an important factor.
