. . . Shea Patterson. 2. player. 811

Here’s the physical embodiment of ‘hot and cold’. When Shea Patterson is on, he’s on. When he’s off, there aren’t too many other things in life that are more unattractive.

His accuracy and awareness are going to have to improve at the next level or he’s going to have a short run as a professional. Things are going to speed up on Sundays, and if Patterson can’t avoid getting rattled as he did all too often and eliminate the bad habits that were seen during his final season at AnnArbor, coaches are going to begin looking for leadership in other places.

Patterson has decent measurables. He’s six-foot-two and tips the scales at 203 pounds.

In his final season with the Michigan Wolverines, he added 3,061 passing yards and 23 touchdowns to his resume. That looks good. The eight interceptions and 57-percent completion clip don’t.

It appears that draft scouts are thinking he’ll go on Day 3 in April’s draft. He’ll need a strong NFL Combine and Pro Day to change a few minds that are skeptical after his stock fell at the Senior Bowl.
