815. . . . Jalen Hurts. 3. player

It’s hard to deny that Jalen Hurts is one of the more polarizing quarterbacks in this year’s draft class. Playing for two of the most storied programs in all of college football will do that for you.

Most of you can tell the story without any assistance. One of the most exciting high school quarterback prospects winds up in Tuscaloosa with The Tide. He has talent, but he also tends to falter in big games. To close the 2016-2017 season, he played well but lost as a freshman in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game to Deshaun Watson and his Clemson Tigers.

Then, once he realized Nick Saban was more interested in Tua Tagovailoa, he left Tuscaloosa and made Norman, Oklahoma his destination. One season with the Oklahoma Sooners resulted in a completion percentage of over 70, 3,851 yards passing and 32-to-eight touchdown-to-interception ratio.

He’d find more disappointment in the most recent College Football Playoff, but we all should have enough film by now. He’s worth spending a draft pick on for someone. Could that be Philly?
