2. Kevin Johnson

Assuming the Eagles make the wise decision in moving on from Ronald Darby and convince Jalen Mills to return on a new deal, Philadelphia will most likely be looking to add another cornerback or two this offseason, whether it happens to be through free agency or the draft.

With all due respect to some of the younger cornerbacks on the Eagles such as Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox since the potential is still there, 2019 made it perfectly clear these two are still works in progress on the defensive side of the football.

By bringing another cornerback on board, this could help take some of the pressure off the other cornerbacks currently on Philadelphia’s roster.

And if the Eagles were looking for which potential free agents at the position on the Bills may be available in March, Kevin Johnson is one name worth keeping an eye on.

After spending the first four years of his career as a member of the Houston Texans, Buffalo signed Johnson on a one-year deal with the chance to prove himself worthy of sticking around for the long run.

This could still end up happening for the Bills after Johnson ended up playing in every game for Buffalo during the 2019 season on top of the playoff meeting with his former team, but if he were to test the free agency market, another team could always make a better offer.

Whether one of those teams could end up being the Eagles, well only time will tell for both parties.
