Philadelphia Eagles: 3 Things we learned from Amazon’s All or Nothing
1. This team loses a ton of leadership on the defensive side of the ball if they lose Brandon Graham or Malcolm Jenkins.
We’ve long known that Malcolm Jenkins is one of the emotional leaders of this team, not just on the field but in the locker room and in the community. Often, we discuss Brandon Graham‘s talent and the fact that his gift is largely ignored by most of the general public, but rarely does he get a ton of pub for his leadership.
The All or Nothing cameras dedicated a great deal of time to following B.G., and the results were amazing.
We saw Graham in his home setting. We saw him as a husband and father. We saw him as a vocal and emotional leader, holding even the most gifted and well-respected teammates accountable (Malcolm Jenkins) and celebrating every success of the young guys (Greg Ward, Miles Sanders, and Boston Scott).
Graham is signed through 2021. Jenkins’ deal ends next year. Sure, the Eagles have stated they want to get younger, but Graham and Jenkins are different. They’re ageless wonders who would create a huge hole if they left. These are two of the veterans that you most certainly have to keep around.
