3. Vonn Bell
Between Malcolm Jenkins getting up there in age along with Rodney McLeod expected to test free agency, the Eagles would benefit from looking to add a safety this offseason to add some depth at the position.

While both Jenkins and McLeod have certainly been great for Philadelphia’s defense over the years, the Eagles need to have the mindset of doing what is best for the team moving forward.
Plus, with Jenkins making it clear already that he’s unhappy over his contract situation, this could put even more pressure on the Eagles this offseason in regards to bringing on help at safety.
Does this mean Vonn Bell could end up being one of the answers Philadelphia is seeking on defense?
Back in 2016, the Saints used a second-round pick on Bell, and watching him come through in a big way over the years for New Orleans by being able to play multiple positions shows what kind of valuable addition this could be for the Eagles.
Bell’s NFL experience alone from the previous four seasons will result in the safety costing a little more than some of the other expected players available in free agency, but also this could be well worth the investment.
