There are several ‘Dawgs’ entering the 2020 NFL Draft that could be of some interest to a Philadelphia Eagles team that’s looking to get better.

It seems like we’ve been writing the same story about the Georgia Bulldogs for ten seasons, and that’s been the case whether you were a Philadelphia Eagles fan or one of the loyal fans who show up every single Saturday at Sanford Stadium during the college football season. Things turn out the same way every year, and we could forecast everything without watching the games. UGA is the cream of the crop in the SEC East. They churn out pro talent annually, and they’ll do so again in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately, if you’re a Bulldogs fan, you know there’s always one dark lining in a very pretty cumulus cloud. A second-place finish in the SEC Championship Game loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide has normally been the ceiling.

Even if UGA finds its way into the CFP and the National Championship Game, they run into Bama. On January 8th of 2018, Georgia took the field in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game with dreams of ending the frustration.

They had Nick Saban and company on the ropes, but Tua Tagovailoa found DeVonta Smith for the game-winner in overtime just one down after being sacked.

Another successful season seems to be on the horizon in 2020 for UGA. According to both Rivals.com and 247sports.com, the Dawgs boast this year’s best recruiting class. Of their 25 commitments, five are seen as five-star athletes according to Rivals and 14 are seen as four-star athletes. 247 says the Dawgs have four five-stars and 15 four-stars.

Regardless of your take on any of that, here’s what we know. UGA has talent. Period. They lose several of their game-changers in 2020 as the green pastures of the NFL are calling, but they’ll be fine. Here are a few of the guys entering the selection meeting in April that Philly may find interesting.
