Notre Dame will again be represented at the combine. Might the Philadelphia Eagles show some interest in one of these instant upgrades at the 2020 NFL Draft?

Any Philadelphia Eagles fan that attended the University of Notre Dame or identifies as being a fan of the program won’t agree with this next statement, but the Irish are the NCAA equivalent of the Dallas Cowboys. Now, if you hate both teams, it’s hard to determine which side should be offended by the statement, but if you’re a football fan, you’ll want to take a look at the nine prospects that have been invited to the combine as they hope to ensure that their names will be called at the 2020 NFL Draft.

Now, about that Cowboys reference. Notre Dame exists in rare air when it comes to sports. They’re polarizing, something every NFL team or college football program wants to be but very few are.

They sit in the class of the New York Yankees and the Los Angeles Lakers. You either love them or you hate them. There is no grey area. They make you cheer, or they make you sick. They make you tune in every Saturday for one reason. You want to see them win or you want to see them lose, but here’s the thing about the Irish.

Football wouldn’t be the same without them, and there are several former members of the program that would be instant upgrades for this Eagles team.
