3 potential free agent targets for Eagles from Browns in 2020
By Dan Parzych
3. Rashard Higgins
To say the Eagles were hurting at wide receiver last season in the injury department would be a huge understatement, whether it was Alshon Jeffery towards the end of the year or DeSean Jackson just about all of 2019.

Time will tell when it comes to determining whether one of these players or both will be back for the 2020 season, but if Philadelphia were to look for a wideout from Cleveland to consider, Rashard Higgins could be an option.
First off, let it be said that adding a player like Higgins isn’t going to solve all of the issues the Eagles were dealing with at wide receiver, as a move like this would be more for depth purposes.
Unfortunately, Higgins has always seemed like one of those players with breakout potential, yet would never actually live up to the hype, and the fact that he only caught four passes in 10 games this past season will back this claim up.
With that being said, the Eagles should look at the numbers put together by Higgins during the 2018 campaign in which he caught 39 passes for 572 yards to go along with four touchdowns to see what the wideout is capable of bringing to the the table on offense.
As previously mentioned, Higgins isn’t going to solve all the issues Philadelphia experienced in the passing game in 2019, but if he can provide the necessary depth, and potentially have a breakout season after all these years, a move like this could be underrated.
