3 potential free agent targets for Eagles from Packers in 2020
By Dan Parzych
3. Chandon Sullivan
Would the Eagles ever consider giving Chandon Sullivan a second stint with the team now that he has more experience under his belt?
Two years ago, Philadelphia signed Sullivan as an undrafted free agent with the hope of seeing the cornerback turn out to be a steal, which unfortunately didn’t turn out to be the case.
While it was great to see Sullivan eventually earn a promotion with the Eagles after ending up on the practice squad at the beginning of the 2018 season before going on to appear in five games, Philadelphia would end up waiving him the following spring.
Shortly after, Sullivan would end up signing with the Packers, and would actually go on to appear in every game throughout the 2019 season, meaning the cornerback should be in for a bit of a raise when it comes to his next contract.
A defender like Sullivan isn’t going to solve all the issues Philadelphia dealt with at the cornerback position this past season, but since he has more experience under his belt, and the Eagles wouldn’t have to break the bank, this could be an underrated signing.
Even if Sullivan still didn’t start, from a depth perspective, this could work wonders for the Eagles.
