3 potential free agent targets for Eagles from Dolphins in 2020
By Dan Parzych
1. Vince Biegel
When looking at the current situation at linebacker, there’s no question the Eagles could benefit from adding another key player or two at the position this offseason to put the defense in better position to compete in 2020.
The fact that Miami marked Vince Biegel‘s third NFL team since joining the league in 2017 shows the linebacker has struggled to find a consistent home over the years, but also this past season with the Dolphins was easily the best of his young career.
Even if the argument can be made that Biegel only received playing time due to Miami being one of the worst teams in the NFL last season, the fact that he started 10 of 15 games played in shows all sorts of potential.
Biegel finishing the year with an interception to go along with 2.5 sacks may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but it certainly would give the Eagles or any other team expressing interest plenty to work with moving forward.
If all continues to go well, Biegel is only going to keep getting better with experience, and could even be a great fit in Philadelphia for the long run, which they clearly need at linebacker.
