4 surprise roster cuts Eagles could also make after Nigel Bradham release
By Dan Parzych
After the Philadelphia Eagles announced their plans to release Nigel Bradham on Tuesday, all eyes are on what other moves the team could make in the 2020 offseason.
While the Philadelphia Eagles continue to do their best to prepare for the upcoming free agency period along with the 2020 NFL Draft, the team made a major move on Tuesday by announcing their plans to release Nigel Bradham.
Over the last four seasons, Bradham has been one of the key factors for the Eagles on the defensive side of the football, and even played a major role in helping the team win their first Super Bowl in franchise history during the 2017 season.
But unfortunately, Bradham’s release with three years remaining on the five-year deal signed back in 2018 shows once again how the NFL is still a business, and teams like Philadelphia are going to do what they feel is best for the team.
As frustrating as this news is to some Eagles fans, on a positive note, at least the release of Bradham will help free up some salary cap space before the new season officially begins next month since Philadelphia will have plenty of other decisions to make.
With that being said, if the Eagles were willing to free up some space by moving on from a solid contributor like Bradham, there could be a few other surprise moves coming as well since Philadelphia seems far from finished when it comes to tough decisions.
Even though some of these moves may seem like long shots to happen, here are four other surprise roster cuts the Eagles could make in the coming weeks following their recent decision involving Bradham.
