As the NFL Combine nears, here are six former NCAA standouts who could be realistic options for the Philadelphia Eagles when they’re on the clock in April.

Maybe we all should all stop using phrases like ‘way-too-early predictions’. You all see how time flies. It feels like it was just yesterday when the ball was dropping in Time’s Square to bring Philadelphia Eagles fans everywhere into a new year (and decade). Just take a moment, and look at your desk calendar. It’s already time for the NFL Combine.

Yep, we’re dangerously close to marking two months off of the books. That’s a good thing though. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The rapid pace of another calendar year means April will be here before you know it. That means we get to talk about the draft before we gear up for rookie minicamps and so on.

Mock drafts are everywhere you look now. Whether you put any stock in them or not, you have to admit, we’re all curious. Everyone’s got their ideas on who the ‘Birds’ will take when they’re on the clock at pick 21 of 2020’s selection meeting.

Most have narrowed the possibilities down to wide receivers and the guys who get paid to keep them from catching the ball. That’s as good a starting point as any. Here are six names to add to the list of possibilities if you haven’t already.
