Here’s a three-round 2020 NFL Mock Draft focused on the Philadelphia Eagles before the start of the combine.

As much as fans don’t want to hear it, the reality is the Philadelphia Eagles have not drafted well in recent years, and it shows when seeing how some players with previous high expectations turned out to be complete disappointments.

Yet, optimism surrounds the team ahead of this year’s 2020 NFL Draft, as many intriguing prospects are available for the taking. The wide-receiver class is especially tantalizing while there will be solid options for the Eagles to consider at both cornerback and defensive end right away during the first round.

The deciding factor of what player ends up on what team, as we know, ultimately comes down to how the board falls. Philadelphia’s fate will hang in the balance of the ever-changing list of names, as they get taken down one-by-one.

It’s the unpredictability of the board that makes the draft so exciting. Teams are either forced to act quickly and trade up, anxiously sit tight, or strategically trade back to acquire more draft capital.

The question remains though, what if the board plays into the Eagles’ hands? What if their guy is still undrafted each round, and Philadelphia catches numerous breaks by landing certain key players?

At the moment, Philadelphia is sitting in a good position at No. 21 on opening night, and could easily reap the benefits should everything go their way during picks 1-20.
