Center

. Best option: Connor McGovern,. . player. 45. .

Honorable mention: B.J. Finney

Jason Kelce has been the offense’s version of Malcolm Jenkins. He never comes off of the field, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get hurt and Philly shouldn’t think about some insurance.

If Kelce goes down, Isaac Seumalo is probably the guy that fills in for him as he’s always been praised for his ability to play multiple positions along the O-line. Connor McGovern is cut in that same mold. He can play both center and guard, and he filled in nicely for Matt Paradis who left the ‘Mile High City’ to join the Carolina Panthers.

The Steelers are set at center with Maurkice Pouncey, but we learned in his absence that B.J. Finney has some talent. He could get a chance to start elsewhere, but if he doesn’t, he’ll serve some team well in a reserve role.

. . Worst option: Ryan Kalil. . player. 30.

Dishonorable mention: Ben Garland

Fans and teams can fall into the trap of finding recognizable names and losing their minds a little. Ryan Kalil will get mentioned in free agency, but he’s 35 years old and way past his prime.

Ben Garland did a solid job replacing Weston Richburg when the San Francisco 49ers‘ starting center suffered a mid-season injury. His age may throw him off of a few radars, but there are also a few guys that are just better options.
