3 potential free agent targets for Eagles from Titans in 2020
By Dan Parzych
1. Logan Ryan
Without question, Logan Ryan will be quite expensive for the Eagles if they were to pursue the cornerback in free agency when seeing the impact made for Tennessee’s defense over the last three seasons.
However, when looking at how desperate Philadelphia is for help at cornerback, the argument can be made that Ryan would be worth every penny.
From Ronald Darby‘s inability to stay healthy to some of the younger players like Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddox still far from the level the Eagles need them to be on, it’s easy to see why Philadelphia will be exploring cornerback options this offseason.
While Darby is most likely done, the good news for Philadelphia is if they were to have any shot at signing Ryan, the veteran could be a great mentor to the youngsters with his previous experience from over the years.
But as previously mentioned, Ryan’s next team, whether it ends up being the Titans or someone else, could come down to who ends up offering the most money since he’s earned the right to be a top-paid cornerback.
As great as it has been to watch the Eagles reach the playoffs in each of the last three seasons, pulling off the accomplishment for a fourth year in a row will be far from easy, but at least the addition of a talented player like Ryan would put them in better shape to pull it off.
