Kyle Tanguay punches his ticket to Hollywood. Tne Philadelphia Eagles rookie cheerleader knocked an all-star panel off of their feet at his recent American Idol audition.

Sometimes, days can go by, and certain thoughts won’t even cross our minds. When do we ever take the time to root cheerleaders on? The Philadelphia Eagles can lay claim to having one of the best squads in all of the professional sports. At the beginning of the season, one of their rookies, Kyle Tanguay, made headlines for being the first male cheerleader to make the squad in three decades. Well, Mr. Tanguay isn’t done. After blowing a star-studded panel away at his American Idol audition, he’s been given his golden ticket, and he’s headed to Hollywood.

To be honest, there was no reason to believe that he wouldn’t be successful. winning is what he does. He’s talented. He’s a trendsetter. Truthfully, if the Idol panel hadn’t given him his ticket, there may have been a need to rethink the selection process.

It’s been a very nice year for Kyle. It wasn’t too long ago that we sang the praises of ‘The Magic Man’ Jon Dorenbos. Now, we get to sing a few for Mr. Tanguay (pun intended). Unfortunately, we won’t sound as good as he does.

Here’s a clip of his audition if you missed it.

Here are some of the best tweets that followed the big news.

Don’t try that last move at home guys and gals. He’s a professional.

It looks like it’s our turn to cheer on one of the people who make gamedays an amazing experience. As Kyle continues to capitalize on all of the gifts that he’s been given, let’s hope that somewhere he’s inspired someone else to do the same.

To Mr. Tanguay the message is simple. The ITI staff is behind you, but we need you to know something. Regardless, of what happens in Cali, you’re already an American Idol, and we hope you realize that.
