If the Philadelphia Eagles look to the Kansas City Chiefs for potential free agents in 2020, the Super Bowl champions have plenty of strong candidates worth consideration.

Without question, the Philadelphia Eagles were beyond thrilled to watch their former head coach Andy Reid win the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs after all the previous times in which his teams came up short.

As disappointing as it was for Eagles fans to see Reid come up short all those years, Philadelphia winning their first Super Bowl title a few years ago with Doug Pederson calling the shots helped ease the pain of losing all those NFC Championship contests.

Now, the pressure will be on Reid and the Chiefs heading into the 2020 season to show they have what it takes to repeat as champions, although before jumping too far ahead, Kansas City is focused on the draft and upcoming free agency period.

The Eagles of all teams know just how difficult it can be at times to bring back every player after winning the Super Bowl since money sometimes comes into play for certain players, and there’s a good chance the Chiefs will be facing plenty of tough decisions over the next few weeks.

On a positive note, if Kansas City ends up finding out that certain players will be too difficult to bring back, this could help Philadelphia fill a few of their own needs, whether it happens to be on offense or defense.

To help continue preparing for the upcoming free agency period, here are a few potential free agent targets worth considering for the Eagles from the Chiefs to put the NFC East champions in better position to compete for the 2020 season.
