3. Morris Claiborne

Would Morris Claiborne even consider the possibility of returning to the NFC East, only to play for the Eagles instead of the Dallas Cowboys like the beginning of his career?

Back in 2012, expectations were rightfully high for Claiborne when the Cowboys decided to use the No. 6 pick on the former LSU star, and there were certainly plenty of great moments during the five years spent with the team.

But after the two parties decided to part ways following the 2016 season, Claiborne would end up spending the next two years as a member of the New York Jets before eventually signing with the Chiefs on a one-year deal in 2019.

Even though Claiborne only earned one start in the eight games he appeared in for Kansas City this past season, no one can take away from the fact that he is now a Super Bowl champion after eight years in the league.

Claiborne may not be considered one of the top cornerbacks available in free agency, but from a depth perspective, if he can manage to stay healthy, and find a way to live up to the first-round potential from a few years ago, this could work out great for the Eagles.

Plus, when looking at Philadelphia’s rivalry with Dallas, the addition of Claiborne could take things to new levels.
