1. Jimmy Smith

Isn’t it crazy to think that Jimmy Smith has spent each of the last nine seasons as a member of the Ravens?

Back in 2011, Baltimore felt confident enough in Smith having what it takes to become a top cornerback in the league, and even though the argument can be made he didn’t always live up to the hype, the veteran cornerback still seems to some gas left in the tank.

Depending on what the Ravens decide to do over the next couple of weeks, Smith is another player who could draw plenty of attention from teams in need of help at the cornerback position, and no one needs to explain just how much help the Eagles truly need.

Assuming Ronald Darby is out of the picture since the cornerback has struggled to stay healthy over the last three years, an experienced like Smith could be a great addition to Philadelphia’s defense to help the unit remain one of the top in the league.

Plus, with some of the younger cornerbacks such as Sidney Jones and Avonte Maddux still in need of development, Smith is the kind of mentor these players could benefit from playing alongside on the defensive side of the football moving forward.
