2. Miles Killebrew

Even though Miles Killebrew has only four career starts to his name, the safety has appeared in 63 games for the Lions dating back to the 2016 season, showing this could be a great addition for the Eagles on defense from a depth perspective.

At the time, Detroit knew they had nothing to lose by selecting Killebrew in the fourth round of the draft in 2016 after looking at his previous success at Southern Utah.

Chances are, the Lions are going to explore the possibility of bringing Killebrew back for a fifth season with the team, but if the safety does end up hitting the free agency market to explore options, the Eagles could be one of the teams expressing interest.

While the hope at the moment is Philadelphia eventually rewards Malcolm Jenkins with the new deal he clearly deserves, the future of Rodney McLeod, who will be hitting free agency as well, is a bit of a mystery at the moment.

As much as the Eagles would love to see McLeod back for another season, they also know that money could be a factor, and while Killebrew doesn’t have as much starting experience, a new opportunity may be exactly what he needs to reach new levels.
