1. Foles could be too expensive to bring on again

As much as the Jaguars don’t want to hear it, any potential trade involving Foles this offseason will most likely result in Jacksonville having to bite the bullet in the quarterback’s hefty contract.

After finally making the decision to move on from Blake Bortles, the Jaguars signed Foles to a hefty four-year deal last March that consisted of a little over $50 million guaranteed.

When seeing these numbers, it’s easy to make the assumption that Jacksonville is going to have a difficult time in finding a trade partner unless they work out some sort of deal with that hefty contract.

But even if the Eagles convinced the Jaguars to take on a good sum, why on earth would they want to pay all of that money for a backup quarterback?

Part of the reason behind Philadelphia’s decision to move on from Foles last season was due to how expensive it would be to have him stick around as a backup when that money could easily be used elsewhere.

During the offseason at some point, the Eagles will figure out their backup quarterback situation to Wentz to make sure they have the proper insurance for 2020, but as great as it would be to see Foles be the answer, this seems too unrealistic at this point.
