Edge. LSU. Scouting Report. K'Lavon Chaisson. 5. player. 54. Pick Analysis

A defense like the Eagles can never have too many pass rushers on the squad, and even though K’Lavon Chaisson didn’t participate in workouts at the combine, he’s still going to be viewed as one of the top players at the position from this year’s draft class.

Once again, Chaisson played a key role on the Tigers’ defense to help LSU claim the title this past season, and this could be a selection too good to pass on if Philadelphia receives the opportunity.

Unfortunately, if the interest happens to be there for the Eagles, this could be one of those positions in which the only chance Philadelphia may have to land Chaisson is through a trade.

When looking at all of the teams ahead of the Eagles in the first round, there’s a good chance that Chaisson ends up being a top-15 pick, and if this does end up being the case, he will be well off the board by the time Philadelphia is first on the clock.

Between his long arms and explosiveness, Chaisson has the potential to develop into a top defender at the NFL level, and could help put the Eagles in great position to earn a third NFC East title in four years during the 2020 season if given the opportunity.
