The Philadelphia Eagles could benefit from a few key free agents from the New York Jets during the 2020 offseason.

From adding depth at cornerback to bringing on extra weapons for Carson Wentz to work with in the passing game, the Philadelphia Eagles have plenty of work to do over the next few weeks with the start of free agency for 2020 right around the corner.

Watching the Eagles find a way to finish on top of the NFC East last season to earn a third trip to the playoffs in a row despite all of the injuries was truly incredible to witness, but also will be difficult to pull off once again without addressing a few areas of weakness.

Talent wise, there’s every reason to believe that Philadelphia will continue to be a top contender in the NFC heading into the 2020 season, but also there are no guarantees this will turn out to be the case since the division alone is already shaping up to be quite competitive.

While the Eagles will evaluate all of the talent available at key positions over the next few weeks, another team worth keeping an eye on as far as potential free agents to recruit is the New York Jets.

Despite coming up short of the playoffs yet again during the 2019 season, the Jets deserve some credit for ending the year on a high note, and could very well take a major leap in 2020 as a legitimate contender in the AFC.

But before jumping too far over conclusions for a different team, the main focus for Philadelphia right now is the upcoming free agency period to make sure they in fact live up to the hype in 2020 as well.
