Could Kemal Ishmael be done with the Falcons after seven seasons to potentially help another team in need of help at the safety position?

Ishmael is another one of those current members of Atlanta who hasn’t exactly made the biggest impact over the years, but with 23 starts to his name since 2013, this could be another great addition depth wise for Philadelphia.

Unfortunately, the safety position has some uncertainty for the Eagles at the moment since Malcolm Jenkins has made it clear he’s unhappy over his contract situation and Rodney McLeod is expected to test the free agency market.

Obviously, Philadelphia would love nothing more than to see both players back for the 2020 season, but even if they were looking for additional options, Ishmael could be another underrated selection to consider from Atlanta.

After signing one-year deals with the Falcons in each of the last two seasons, chances are Ishmael will be in for a bit of a pay raise, and should be able to strike a multi-year contract, whether it happens to be with Atlanta, Philadelphia, or someone else.

At least if the Eagles do become an option once free agency gets underway, the team wouldn’t necessarily need to break the bank for Ishmael.
