1. Vic Beasley

Remember back in 2016 when Vic Beasley led the NFL with 15.5 sacks, and appeared to have a bright future with the Falcons?

Even though Beasley’s numbers have been down a bit over the last three seasons since that monster year in 2016, the former Clemson star will only be 28 at the start of next season.

In other words, Beasley still has plenty of time to return to that level from a few years ago, and show the Falcons or any other team expressing interest that he’s capable of being a top defender in the NFL.

With that being said, unlike the previous two players already discussed, Beasley’s situation would be much different if Philadelphia were interested since he would most likely be costly to bring on board.

But if the Eagles were in fact interested, and Beasley would be willing to sign with the team at a reasonable price, what would Philadelphia have to lose?

At the end of the day, if Beasley can find a way to make a significant impact in 2020, and the Eagles avoid overpaying the defender, this seems like a move that would be well worth the risk to keep Philadelphia near the top of the NFC.
