2. Cassius Marsh

Could Cassius Marsh end up on his fifth team since joining the NFL in 2014 after spending last year as a member of the Cardinals?

This factor alone may not make Marsh seem like the most attractive defender to consider in free agency, but he does appear to be the kind of player who gets better with experience.

After appearing in all 16 games (three starts) for the Cardinals last season while combining for 36 tackles and 2.5 sacks, one can only imagine what kind of impact Marsh could make in defense run by Jim Schwartz.

Despite some of his criticism from over the last two years, Philadelphia made the right decision to give it another go with Schwartz in 2020 since the Eagles as a defense were one of the top units in the league last season.

Adding another defender like Marsh isn’t going to solve all of the weaknesses for the Eagles on the defensive side of the football, but for all Philadelphia knows, a signing like this could turn out to be a potential steal.

Marsh may not have what it takes to be a starter, but at least from a depth perspective, this would still make for a great move.
