There will never be an offseason where Philadelphia Eagles fans agree, but you should all be wary of some of these NFL free agents.

If you haven’t done so by now, take a second and think about something. Philadelphia Eagles executive vice president and general manager Howie Roseman has some wiggle room. We’ve seen him do a lot with nothing to spend. We’ve seen him magically rework deals and shuffle these NFL guys around like a Jon Dorenbos card trick. We’ve also seen him fall flat on his face with some of his decisions. Forget about all of that. Just focus on this.

The Eagles may have around $40 million to spend on talent, and they’ve got ten draft choices. This is the defending NFC East Champions we’re talking about. Come on. Aren’t you just a tad curious about what’s coming?

Whether we want it changed or not, the formula is the same this season. Free agency precedes the selection meeting, and with that huge purse, we expect the ‘Birds’ to go shopping. Be forewarned. They’re going to overspend on a few guys, especially if they land Byron Jones, but that doesn’t mean they need to be foolish either.

Every year the free-agency signing period is full of hidden gems, studs, and duds. Let’s focus on the latter. Here are ten guys the Eagles must avoid during what’s been dubbed as ‘the frenzy’.
