. . . Jaylon Johnson. 7. player. 843

It was a rough showing for some of the former Utah Utes during the NFL Scouting Combine in Indy, but Jaylon Johnson made himself a little money when the defensive backs stepped on the field for workouts.

After back-to-back First-team All-Pac-12 nods (2018 and 2019), Johnson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds before posting a 36.5-inch vertical and a 124-inch broad jump. He also posted 7.01 seconds in the three-cone drill and 4.13 seconds in the 20-yard shuttle. Keep an eye on him. He could come off of draft boards earlier than some of you are expecting.

6. player. 879. . . . A.J. Terrell

Unfortunately for A.J. Terrell, the last memory we have of him is seeing the LSU Tigers pick on him over and over again, often with success, but that shouldn’t be the end of his evaluation process. He didn’t earn First-team All-ACC honors following the 2019 regular season for no reason.

Regardless of the fact that the last impression guys make in college football is sometimes the most important, Terrell still a nice option if someone wants to improve their secondary after Round 2. With proper coaching, he could be something special.
