. . . Tre Boston. 8. player. 87

Unless you were paying close attention or unless you were a fan of the team, you probably didn’t notice that the 2020 regular season was actually Tre Boston‘s second stint with the Carolina Panthers. 68 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and three picks later, he’s looking for his third home in as many seasons.

At times, he can forget how to tackle, something that will make ‘Birds’ fans feel as though their team should ignore him, but if history has taught us anything, we know he’ll get a deal somewhere. It will probably just be for one year, and it will be for less than he probably wants.

It’s doubtful he lands in Philly.

player. 46. . . . Clayton Geathers. 7

It appears as though Clayton Geathers is just as susceptible to being beaten by the other team’s passing game as some less talented guys that Philly seems to have given up on (Ronald Darby and Rasul Douglas for instance).

Fortunately, he’s a solid run defender and he does more things right than he does wrong. He’ll get a nice deal though as he’s a thumper and plays very well versus the run. Again, there’s no way to verify this for sure, but it’s doubtful that he winds up in Philly. If you play safety for Jim Schwartz you better know how to cover.
