Here’s another 7-round 2020 mock draft focusing on the Philadelphia Eagles after the team acquired Darius Slay from the Detroit Lions.

Now that free agency is officially in full swing, it only seems fitting to put together another 2020 mock draft surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles, especially after the team made a big move by acquiring Darius Slay in a trade.

For weeks, the Eagles seemed like a popular landing spot for the three-time Pro Bowler since Philadelphia was in need of help at the cornerback position, and Slay hasn’t been shy about being unhappy with the Detroit Lions.

So when it was announced on Thursday that a deal was officially in place, it was easy to understand why there was so much excitement for all parties involved.

Talent wise, Slay has established a reputation for himself in regards to being a top cornerback in the league over the years, and earning Pro Bowl honors three years in a row will certainly back this claim up.

What is even more exciting for Philadelphia is with Slay agreeing to a three-year, $50 million extension as well as a result of the trade, the defense should be in great shape at cornerback for years to come, although there is still plenty of work to do leading up to the draft.

Unfortunately, just because the Eagles acquired Slay doesn’t necessarily mean they should avoid selecting a cornerback in the upcoming draft since they could always use depth at the position as well.

Along with the cornerback position, it’s time to take a look at some other positions and players Philadelphia should consider following the Slay trade in the latest 2020 mock draft focusing on the Eagles.
