4. Devonta Freeman

Devonta Freeman is nowhere near the same level as a few years ago when he was considered a top running back in the league, but now that he’s no longer a member of the Atlanta Falcons, this could be another scenario in which a fresh start benefits the veteran in a big way.

Early on his career, Freeman appeared to have a bright future with the Falcons after combining for 3,175 yards from scrimmage and 27 touchdowns from 2015-16.

But since those two Pro Bowl seasons, Freeman’s production has unfortunately been on a bit of a decline, and injuries limited him to appearing in just two games during the 2018 season, which also seemed to play a part in 2019 turning out to be such a disappointment.

One can only imagine how disappointed the Falcons were to move on from Freeman since expectations were so high a few years ago as previously mentioned, but maybe a reduced role on a team like the Eagles could be the perfect fit.

After seeing all of the potential surrounding Miles Sanders and Boston Scott towards the end of last season, the addition of Freeman at the right price could make Philadelphia’s ground game even stronger.
