After a very entertaining week of NFL free agency signings, here are the ten best linebackers for the Philadelphia Eagles to consider going forward.

Ladies and gentlemen, at the time of this story being published, the Philadelphia Eagles are probably putting the finishing touches on two deals, one that brought versatile defensive back Will Parks into the nest and one that adds another body, Jatavis Brown, to a position group that had a total of four members before Philly’s decision to bring him in.

Neither addition packs the punch that Philly’s trade for Darius Slay produced, but both help satisfy major needs on defense, even if these both appear to be depth signings.

With five linebackers on the roster now, it’s safe to assume that the Eagles will look to add a few more during the draft process and shortly thereafter. If they continue to use the free-agent pool as one of their weapons of choice, there are still a few guys that they can give some consideration to.

Kamu Grugier-Hill has moved on to South Beach to play for the Miami Dolphins. Some of the more notable names like Nick Kwiatkoski, Cory LittletonKyle Van Noy, and Blake Martinez have already been snatched up by other teams.

Here’s a power ranking for some of the guys who remain. Here’s some warning. Many of these guys seem to be band-aids and not long-term options. Here’s a spoiler. Vontaze Burfict will get some mention by other teams, but he won’t be on this list. Philly can do without the lapses in judgment and the personal foul penalties.
