The newest mock drafts are saturated with two names Philadelphia Eagles fans ought to be familiar with.

It’s blatantly obvious the Philadelphia Eagles will select a pass-catcher early in the 2020 NFL Draft, as the upcoming class of receivers is being lauded as one of the best ever.

The Eagles desperately need to give Carson Wentz weapons on the outside. He’s 27-years-old and has yet to finish a playoff game. Philadelphia needs to devote the proper resources to the franchise player, to maximize his career.

Jerry Jeudy, CeeDee Lamb, and Henry Ruggs III headline the position group at wideout from this year’s class. They all look the part of stars and will most likely be selected within the first thirteen or fourteen picks. If the Eagles get within shouting distance of any, they need to pull the trigger, no questions asked.

At least if the Eagles miss out on any of the receivers listed above, two players projected in the latter part of the first round are Denzel Mims and Justin Jefferson.

As Bleeding Green Nation recently pointed out, both Mims and Jefferson seem popular to consider at No. 21.

Both receivers displayed big 2019 seasons that elevated their stock and are projected to go anywhere from late in the first round or some point in the second.

This year’s receiver class is loaded with talent and the draft process is altered a bit due to unfortunate circumstances, but Mims and Jefferson have the tape that will speak to teams.

If the Eagles have to decide between the two, which player would be best in midnight green? Well, to provide fans with a better idea of which player would be the better fit, here are some comparisons between Mims and Jefferson.
